For the Love of Shopping

Shop and Win

Two local boutiques are offering very enticing incentives for shoppers to pay them a visit. First stop: Skirt in Bryn Mawr. With every purchase you make Feb. 7-11, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a dream trip to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The oh-so-fashionable Maureen Doron, owner of Skirt, will accompany the winner and a guest in a limo ride to New York, where they’ll be treated to dinner at one of Manhattan’s finest restaurants. After dinner, it’s off to the tents at Bryan Park for VIP seating at the Tibi runway show. Just imagine the celebrities you could rub elbows with! Definitely don’t miss the chance to be chosen for this unbelievable experience. Skirt, 931 Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr; (610) 520-0222, shop-skirt.com.

Next stop: Per Lei boutique in Media. Owner Candice Caprice is entering every shopper who makes a purchase Feb. 4-14 into a drawing to win a gorgeous David Yurman Cable Sterling Bracelet with black onyx and pave diamonds valued at $1,375. Who doesn’t want a beautiful piece of jewelry this time of year? Per Lei, 2 E. State St., Media; (610) 566-1254, perleiboutique.com.

It’s Nannygoat Time

This weekend (Feb. 6-8) is Nannygoat Antiques’ first sale of the year. If you’ve never experienced a Nannygoat sale, now’s the time. Coinciding with Narberth’s First Friday, the event kicks off with a wine-and-cheese social on Friday night. The sale’s theme is “A Clean Slate.” The ’goats are featuring a union of neutrals, winter whites, natural materials, wonderful woods in hints of Scandinavian style, metals, mirrors, boxes, baskets, lamps for illumination, architectural pieces uniquely designed to display your favorite linens and collections, blankets with rich texture, glass, silver, pottery and porcelain. There will also be a collection of vintage and vintage-inspired jewelry and gift ideas perfect for Valentine’s Day. Plus, enjoy complimentary mimosas on Saturday and Sunday while you shop. Nannygoat Antiques, 301 Haverford Ave., Narberth, nannygoatalley.com.
